Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Williamsport, Inc.-Walter Kell, 61, a resident of Williamsport Route 2 the past four years, died at 7:35 am Wednesday (Aug. 18, 1971) at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, Ill. Born Aug. 21, 1909, in Veedersburg, he was a son of Edward and Eva Mae Stonebraker Kell. He was married in Williamsport to Jeanette (Lois) Wehcamp, who survives. Mr. Kell was a truck driver for the Haggamaster Trucking Co. in Chicago Heights. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Warner of Wilmington, Ill.; a brother, Marvin of Hoopeston; a sister, Mrs. Rita Snyder of Chicago; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Graveside services will be at 9:30 am Friday at the Veterans Administration Cemetery in Danville, with the Rev. Milton Popp officiating. Friends will be received from 7-9 pm Thursday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home at Danville. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.  --- typed by Barbara B
